Good Afternoon Walnut Grove Families,
This weekend we will be celebrating Veterans Day, and Monday will be a pupil free day. We want to remember all who have served and are serving in the armed forces and what they have done to serve our country!
This will be the last week of the second quarter progress report, so be sure that students are all caught up on their homework and assignments.
As the holidays are approaching, I want to encourage you to participate in our Cash for School’s Contest. As you are shopping or eating at the Mall, Plaza West Covina, or online at a Mall store, remember to put Walnut Grove on your receipt or a copy of your receipt and put it in the kiosk near Best Buy. We have been a winner in this contest three times in a row and we want to win the prize again so we can reward the students with incentives and activities to enrich their education here.
Just a reminder that we will be having our Hawk Recognition Assembly Friday November 30, the last Friday of the month.
